Testimonials

“Hi Yigal,
On behalf of the Director’s Advisory Council I would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for your presentation “Unteaching Racism”.
Your presentation was most interesting and well received by both virtual and in person attendees. We wish you continued success in communicating your ideas to help eradicate racism. As you so adroitly put it, there is just one race, the Human Race.”

“I was so happy that I was able to experience Yigal’s presentation at the Boston University conference on Educational Agility and (the topic of) Racism last year. As an agile education coach, I was unaware of the impact that language had on fostering and perpetuating some of the general stereotypes that we experience in our society and after participating in Yigal’s workshop I was truly able to pivot and improve my use of language when engaging in transformation coaching much to the benefit of all of my customer’s and their team members.”

Systemic Diversity and Inclusion Group (SDIG) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides training with a focus on Global Diversity and Inclusion to organizations…..

As the president of SDIG, I can tell you that Yigal is exemplary of what we need to create a better society. He is very knowledgeable about history and the importance of shaping a better tomorrow.

Yigal Kahana has spoken and helped bring people along to understand one another from their various points of view and provide them compelling reasons to engage with one another. Mr. Kahana’s perspective and approach are visible in some of his work at home and abroad to foster equity and social justice for all.

For example, his work bridges the Israeli and Ethiopian Jews’ gap of misunderstanding based on misconceptions. More importantly, he encourages them to engage with one another to understand each other better. Yigal is fostering the creation of better relationships amongst all people….

Additionally, Yigal has used his knowledge, experience, and cultural understanding of all people to train Israeli police to enhance their cross-cultural communication competencies, especially when dealing with people they do not know or understand..

Translated Endorsement from Shai Yaso for Yigal Dan Kahana

It is my great honor to write about attorney Yigal Kahana. I have known Yigal well for many years. He is smart, professional, well mannered, and altruistic.

He has worked hard for justice and better relations between people, and invested heavily of his time, wisdom, and energy for the community. He has been ready to voluntarily speak to any audience at any place and any time he is asked.

I and many of my friends have been lucky to hear his presentations on human rights, discrimination, and racism. These were well-constructed lectures, deep and very informative. The feedback has included comments like:

“Mind-opening,” “Changes points of view,” We didn’t know!,” and “Finally, I learned to see the difference between discrimination and racism, and what their roots are.”
These are just a few of the comments I received from the police officers who attended his presentations.

The world is sustained by the merit of good people who work for good, honest reasons to make meaningful changes to improve society, and Yigal is one of them. All the best to him.

With my blessings,
